APRIL CONTEST BASES

 

This contest will be held monthly on Twitter and will alternate with #bestffxivsnaps.

Contest


The goal of the contest is to create your own visual interpretation of a short story we’ve written. You can recreate a just single scene, or you can recreate multiple scenes throughout the story. The story can be found here: http://ffxivsnaps.com/en/ffxivsnapastory-sunset/

Dates

  • Sunday, April 7th: bases will be announced and pinned on Twitter. Everyone can start posting their entries.
  • Sunday, April 21st: end date for entries.
  • From Monday, April 22nd to Friday, April 26th: judges will send their votes.
  • Sunday, April 28th: winners will be announced.

Pictures

To submit a picture, you must follow @FFXIVSNAPSInfo Twitter account. On a Twitter post, use the #ffxivsnapastory tag. A Twitter Moment album will be created to gather all the entries. All entries will also be posted on a dedicated Discord channel. The winning entry will be featured on our blog at the end of the contest.

Rules

  • Pictures must be vanilla. No editing of any sort can be done to the picture, only cropping and/or recreation of the SquareEnix copyright information.
  • No NSFW elements or nudity is permitted.
  • Up to four images per user can be submitted.

Votes

Judges will take into account the following parameters to set their votes:
  • How well the pictures fit into the the short story
  • Picture quality
  • Originality of interpretation

Prizes

We’re giving MogStation prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places thanks to our sponsors!
  • 1st place: 15€
  • 2nd place: 10€
  • 3rd place: 5€
All three winners will also be able to:
  • have an interview for our website blog
  • become judges during the following editions of the contest – please note that judges are not allowed to participate
